Wow, what a week. I conquered my goal of 50,000 words this month for NaNoWriMo – my first win in three years! It feels good, but I still have a ways to go before my book is turned in on Monday.

How is your writing going? National Novel Writing Month is almost over – only a few days left to go! We’re in the final stretch!

If you’ve been watching the NaNoWriMo Diaries, you know how hard I’ve worked to reach this goal! You can see the vlogs for this week below or catch them in the playlist here.

Day 18: Storytime: Why I Got This Tattoo & Why Plotbunnies are Dangerous

Day 19: An Incredible Gift From A Fan!

Day 20: A Productive Friday Writing Vlog

Day 21: Writing Through Chronic Illness

Day 22: How To Get Motivated To Keep Writing

Day 23: I Won! 50,000 Words!

Day 24: Quick note of encouragement!

If you have won NaNo, please let us know in the comments below so we can celebrate with you! A huge congratulations to you! It is such a huge accomplishment!

Let us know if this is your first win. Or your tenth win! (I have done NaNo 13 years, and I’m not even sure how many times I’ve won – at least 6 of the 13 times.) But… it’s not always about whether you win or lose. It’s about whether you show up and that you are here for your creativity. That’s the most important! So we’re all winners here, because we showed up!

If you haven’t won yet, and you’re getting close, and you’re still hopeful, don’t give up! Keep going! We can do this!

If you find, though, that you are so far off that there is no way you’ll hit your 50,000 word goal, it’s ok! Don’t give up! There are still a few good days left to keep working on your book. And you still have the rest of your life, December, January, February, to keep writing! NaNo is just a snapshot in time and I want you to know, that win or lose, it’s more important that you showed up for yourself and keep going!

HB90 Bootcamp registration opening up this weekend!

Want to turn the page on 2020 and start the next year feeling in control and ready to achieve your dreams?

If there’s one thing 2020 has taught me, it’s that lowering my stress levels so that I can handle anything life throws at me is one of the most important things I can do for myself and my family.

The HB90 Bootcamp is a planning system I developed several years ago when I felt like my life was spiraling out of control. I just had so many things I wanted to accomplish in my life, and I felt like I was getting nowhere.

If you’ve been feeling that way this year, too, I know the HB90 Bootcamp can help. Join us for the final round of the year and plan to make 2021 your best year yet!

The course will run the week of December 13th, so I’ll keep registration open until midnight December 12th! We open the doors on Sunday, so be on the lookout for links coming soon. I hope you’ll join me.

HB90 Goals and Q1 Planners Coming Soon!

So many of you have been asking about the new planners, and I promise they are coming. This has been such a busy season in my life, and I am taking things one step at a time!

I will send an email and be sure to announce it everywhere the new planners go live on Etsy. Right now, I’m expecting the HB90 Q1 planner to go up around December 6th and the Goals Planner should be live on the 11th or 12th. Later than I originally hoped, but that will still give you plenty of time to plan for the new year!

There are some exciting changes coming in the design, so I can’t wait to show you those.

Have a great weekend, and I hope you’re enjoying the NaNoWriMo Diaries so far!
