Mental Health And Productivity: A Peek Inside My Journey

A Writer's Life

Mental health is a topic close to my heart, because my own journey toward my goals has been as much about mental health as anything else.

Today’s video is a casual, real chat about how my mental health affects my productivity, what my journey has been like up to this moment, and how I’m working to improve my productivity by managing my mental health in a positive way.

How My Mental Health Affects My Productivity

I truly hope that my story can help you find positivity and light in a sometimes cloudy situation.

HB90 is opening for enrollment this Sunday!

This is the course for you if you:

  • Constantly feel like you’re behind
  • Struggle to find time (and energy) to write
  • Feel like you don’t even know what you should be doing next
  • Are losing your passion for writing because you’re overwhelmed by the business
  • Working hard all the time but never finishing anything

… and so much more

If this sounds like you, click here to read more about the course and testimonials from HB90 Bootcamp alumni. The course opens for enrollment on May 29th 2022 at 12pm EST, and we begin on Sunday, June 12th. I can’t wait!

I will also have the June Notebook Challenge video up this weekend, and I’m currently working on an entire series about writing scenes that keep your readers engaged. I’m looking forward a great summer of content with you.

We are truly writing soul sisters. My nagging inner critic is my first real teen boyfriend/relationship’s abusive mother saying terrible things to me to destroy my inner creativity like “writing isn’t a real job.” I’ve given her a judgy prudish voice of the secretary from Monsters Inc so I purposely giggle when her voice creeps into my thoughts. You could try this too with your thoughts. It really helps.

      Haha that sounds fun! Thanks!

Hi, I'm Sarra!

I have been self-publishing my books since 2010, and in that time, I've sold well over half a million copies of my books. I'm not a superstar or a huge bestseller, but I have built an amazing career that brings me great joy. Here at Heart Breathings, I hope to help you find that same level of success. Let's do this.
